Dean Kavanagh

Dean is a Partner at Lumir and a member of its founding team.

For the past two decades Dean has focused his time on his two key interests of technology and finance with some his prior experience including being a portfolio manager for a family office active in Israeli and Australian venture capital, an active board member of a Sydney based originator of financial products for Aussie businesses, the programmer of a portfolio analysis system for a San Francisco hedge fund, an investor in portfolios of online originated credit assets in the US, and the lead developer of a clinical research tool for a Swiss hospital.

Dean has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Charterholder (CAIA).
